A rigorous, multi-stage selection process designed to identify Africa's most promising scientific entrepreneurs. Each stage evaluates technical excellence, entrepreneurial potential, and Builder characteristics.
Comprehensive application including research background, entrepreneurial vision, team composition (if applicable), and detailed responses demonstrating Builder potential. We review the whole profile, not just academic credentials.
Structured interviews with program leadership to assess technical depth, strategic thinking, character, and alignment with the FAS mission. Interviews may include technical challenges and scenario-based questions.
Selected cohort notified and provided comprehensive pre-program preparation materials. Successful candidates advance to the 14-day intensive and potential 8-month FAS Fellowship with seed funding opportunities.
